Zach Roberts’ life takes an unexpected turn when his charity case, Gloria, leaves him in search of “bigger things,” abandoning him with her unruly dog, Jitters. Urged by his longtime friend Jerry, Zach heads to a movie set in hopes of landing an interview with the film’s star, Tracy Sutton. Their adventure quickly spirals into chaos when their eccentric friend Max insists on tagging along.

Life on set is far more unpredictable than Zach anticipated. From clashing with the makeup department and butting heads with Janice, the head of wardrobe, to surviving the antics of the unhinged director Von Sledrick and a revolving door of bizarre extras and animals, Zach’s patience is stretched to the limit. Amidst the madness, he finds a moment of calm—and a spark of romance—with Abbey, a kind-hearted wardrobe assistant.

But despite his efforts, Zach’s attempts to interview Tracy Sutton are repeatedly foiled. Everything comes to a head when Janice catches Zach and Max snooping in her wardrobe trailer, leading to their expulsion from the set. With time running out, Zach faces a critical decision: help Jerry, his oldest friend, or secure the interview that could save his channel—and possibly win Gloria back.

In the end, Zach must decide what matters most: chasing lost love, or embracing the unexpected connection he’s found with Abbey—the one person who’s managed to win over not just him, but his closest friends.
